Sailing – one of the most team-building activities imaginable. Participants actively engage aboard; they chart the course, make navigational decisions, and manage all tasks onboard. The responsible skipper ensures safety and guidance.
The spacious 50-foot sailing yachts (Jeanneau/Beneteau) are interchangeable and possess similar sailing capabilities, so it’s up to the group’s ability to collaborate and allocate roles that will be put to the test!
No prior sailing experience is required!
We depart directly from Sandhamn or from central Stockholm, Nacka, Lidingö, Waxholm, Värmdö, or any other suitable location for the group. Maximum 12 participants per boat.
A responsible skipper and all necessary equipment are included; wind and rain gear, warm flotation suits, and life jackets.

Make sailing a lighthearted activity together to create new energy in the group. Or use sailing as a tool to deepen collaboration within the group; Sailing is an excellent way to practice teamwork and communication while providing the group with an opportunity to share a common experience! For the competitively oriented group, a “match race”, the cat and mouse game of sailing, could be the ultimate group activity to motivate team spirit and results-oriented thinking!
Sustainable transport: Make transportation part of the experience, start/end the conference with a team-building sail. It can’t get more environmentally friendly than that!
Stavsnäs–Sandhamn: approx. 2-3 hours Vaxholm–Sandhamn: approx. 5 hours Saltsjöbaden–Sandhamn: approx. 5 hours Stockholm City–Sandhamn: approx. 6 hours
Match race/regatta (AM/PM): An adrenaline-pumping and thrilling racing activity. In teams aboard our compatible boats, you’ll compete in several short races on a marked course in suitable waters. After the race, the winning team is announced!
After Work Sailing (PM): After an intense workday, you’ll step aboard for a quick AW activity where everyone works together; hoisting sails, trimming, and steering in the same direction. With renewed energy, you’ll return ashore and gather for a true “After Sail” experience in the bar at the Seglarhotellet!
Archipelago Cruise (AM/PM or full day): Sail out with the group and enjoy the beautiful outer archipelago around Sandhamn, or circumnavigate Sandön and feel the swell of the sea outside. Bring lunch and/or snacks on board. An extra inspiration/reward for the hard-working group!
Sailing Mission (full day): A mission-based sailing day with several tasks involving orientation, navigation, point hunting, and problem-solving. A competition that requires strategy and tactics and is equally exciting regardless of weather conditions, whether there are strong winds or light breezes!
Team Sailing (AM/PM or full day): Take a break in the conference and include a team-building sailing activity during the conference/workday. Sailing together is an excellent way to practice teamwork, communication, and goal-setting by literally being in the same boat!
