
We have the pleasure of welcoming one of Champagne’s most charismatic voices to Sandhamn. Jean-François Clouet, winemaker and owner of Champagne André Clouet in Bouzy, joins us for an evening dedicated entirely to Pinot Noir.
The Clouet family has been crafting small scale champagne since 1741, always rooted in the Grand Cru soils of Bouzy and Ambonnay. In Jean-François’ hands, this translates into champagnes with a generous yet bone dry and well structured style, allowing the true character of the grape to speak for itself.
Just like in his vineyards, our focus tonight is on Pinot Noir. Three elegant interpretations of the grape will meet a Blanc de Blancs made from pure Chardonnay. The entire experience is accompanied by a four course menu from our kitchen, showcasing the very best ingredients the archipelago has to offer.
